Plenary Presentation: From Initiative to Insight—Accelerating Area Development with Digital Reality

How can you determine more quickly whether a spatial initiative is feasible? And how can you bring together laws and regulations, local policies, technical constraints, and administrative goals into a single, clear decision-making framework?
During this plenary presentation, the City of Apeldoorn and IMAGEM will demonstrate how Digital Reality helps significantly accelerate the initiation and feasibility phases of area development.
Using “ digital twin ” technology and smart knowledge technology, spatial data, policy objectives, technical checks, and decision-making frameworks are linked together. This provides a faster understanding of what is possible, permitted, and desirable.
The City of Apeldoorn explains the benefits this approach can bring to municipal operations. IMAGEM demonstrates how technology and subject-matter expertise come together in a policy-driven digital collaboration environment, where land-use initiatives can be assessed more quickly and with a stronger foundation.
Together, we’ll explore how municipalities, project initiators, residents, and business owners can gain clarity earlier on the feasibility of their plans.
