Licensing

Almost all licenses can be activated in the Geospatial Licensing Administrator. The 2023 edition is the most recent version. We recommend that you install this version before activating your licenses. The Geospatial Licensing Administrator 2023 can be requested atimagem.

All subscription-based licenses come with a 14-day grace period. This allows customers to continue working while they wait for their new license. New subscription-based licenses are often issued during this grace period.

In 2025, Hexagon launched a spin-off of its Asset Lifecycle Intelligence and Safety, Infrastructure, and Geospatial divisions. Together with ETQ and Bricsys, that spin-off became Octave. Today, Octave operates as a separate, independent company, while continuing to draw on a foundation of deep expertise, experience, and relationships honed over decades.
