Can you translate complex technology into a story that customers understand and find relevant?
At IMAGEM, we use technology, data, and location information to develop solutions for organizations facing complex challenges. Some of our solutions have been successful for years, while other offerings are still in their early stages. That is precisely where a significant opportunity lies for marketing.
We are looking for a Product & Growth Marketer who can help us identify who our solutions are relevant for, what problem we solve for those customers, and how we can effectively communicate that message to the market.
In this role, you’ll be working at the intersection of customer, product, sales, and marketing. This isn’t a position where you’ll primarily be filling a content calendar or planning campaigns; rather, it’s a role in which you’ll work with colleagues to ensure our offerings are well-defined and that the right organizations know where to find us.
What are you going to do?
You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of our customers, markets, and solutions, and translate that knowledge into a strong positioning and commercial message. Your responsibilities will include:
- refining target audiences, value propositions, positioning, and messaging
- Developing a go-to-market strategy for new and existing solutions
- gathering customer and market insights from customers, the sales team, and our subject matter experts
- translating that into campaigns, landing pages, customer case studies, and sales materials
- improving our online visibility and lead generation
- measuring what works and using those insights to improve campaigns, channels, and messages
- Supporting sales with a clear message and effective sales tools
A key initial focus area is our Digital Reality offering. There, you’ll have the opportunity to help build out product marketing and go-to-market strategies from the ground up. You don’t need to be able to do everything yourself. For example, we can bring in outside expertise for design, video, photography, web development, and specialized online marketing. Your main role will be to ensure it’s clear what we want to achieve, for whom, and with what message.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is curious, business-minded, and enjoys getting things done. You have:
- Several years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology, software, data, or another technically complex field
- Experience with product marketing, positioning, value propositions, or go-to-market strategies
- sufficient knowledge of digital marketing to understand how websites, SEO, campaigns, analytics, and lead generation are interconnected
- the ability to distill complex products or technology into a clear and compelling customer story
- the initiative to take on tasks independently while also collaborating easily with sales and subject-matter experts
- a good command of Dutch and sufficient English for our international contacts
Experience with geoinformation or our technology is not required. We can teach you that. What’s more important is that you’re curious enough to truly want to understand our products, customers, and markets.
Who do you work with?
Marketing at IMAGEM is streamlined. You’ll work closely with our marketing colleague, who focuses on content and storytelling, as well as with the sales team, consultants, and colleagues who develop our products and solutions. Because we’re a relatively small organization, the lines of communication are short. You’ll have plenty of freedom to try out ideas and work together to determine where marketing can add the most value.
What We Offer
- A versatile position for 24–32 hours per week, with a preference for approximately 28–32 hours.
- You'll take on a new role with plenty of room for initiative, in a substantive B2B environment where technology, data, and social issues converge.
- In addition, we offer, among other things, a flexible work environment with the option to work from home, reimbursement of travel expenses and an NS Business Card, a healthy lunch at the office every day, and 27 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek.
When Are You Doing It Right?
Not when you’ve created as many campaigns or posts as possible. But when our value propositions are more compelling, our sales team can tell a better story, and more and more of the right organizations understand why an IMAGEM solution is of interest to them.
