Make room!

For new insights. For smart applications. For each other.

On Wednesday, October 29, you are warmly invited to Landgoed de Horst in Driebergen, a familiar venue surrounded by nature, where we will once again gather this year for Make Geospatial Matter.

This year is all about space—physical, digital, and mental. Think digital twins, self-regulating waterways, smart drones, and inspiring examples of organizations that are already taking concrete steps. But also: taking the time to pause, share knowledge, and reflect together on the future.

We invite you to a day filled with inspiration, in-depth learning, and networking. The event will feature a powerful keynote speech, three rounds of three knowledge sessions where you can choose the ones that suit you best, and plenty of opportunities to catch up and exchange ideas. We’ll wrap up with drinks and dinner, so there’s plenty of time for informal conversation as well.

GIS, Remote Sensing, 3D, and visual analytics: our field is rapidly evolving toward mission-critical information systems. Whether you’re simply curious about the possibilities or are already in the midst of this transition, now is the time to pause, look ahead, and make room for new ideas.

Make Geospatial Matter

Who is this for?

Anyone interested in the power of geodata: from policymakers and project leaders to GIS specialists and data analysts. But also professionals who want to learn how to apply geo-solutions in practice, or who simply want to explore the latest developments in the field.

House of Representatives elections

First the vote, then the inspiration—or vice versa

The MGM event will take place on October 29, the same day as the House of Representatives elections. And, of course, we believe voting is important. That’s why we’ve structured the program so that you can easily combine both activities.

  • We’re intentionally starting later
We’ll begin at 11:00 a.m. That way, you’ll have time to vote in your hometown in the morning. Polling stations open as early as 7:30 a.m.
  • Head to the polls after the event
After the drinks and walking dinner, the program ends at 7:00 PM. So you’ll have plenty of time to cast your vote on a full stomach—the polling stations are open until 9:00 PM.
  • Prefer to vote in Driebergen?
Want to do everything in one place? Simply request a voter ID card from your local municipality. With it, you can cast your vote in Driebergen, either before or after the MGM event.

That way, you won't miss a thing: not the event, and certainly not the elections.
