More frequent insights into your waterways

Water management requires more than just digital support: processes must be forward-thinking, adaptive, and interconnected. Only then can water authorities address complex challenges—from extreme weather to scarce resources—in a timely and effective manner.

The WDO Delta Water Authority asked itself: “How can we evolve into an organization that truly anticipates, rather than merely reacting?” Together with IMAGEM , they IMAGEM a prototype of a multi-agent digital twin. This digital twin not only digital twin what is happening, but also identifies issues, makes predictions, and provides evidence-based recommendations.

About Water Information Day

Water Info Day is a networking event focused on information sharing in the water sector.

Water Info Day is the annual gathering for professionals working with water information, data, digitization, and operational water management. The event combines a high-quality program with a bustling exhibition floor, bringing together the entire spectrum of the Dutch water sector.

"From Data to Action" is about translating complex data into understandable narratives, usable information systems, and concrete actions and/or decisions. It is about collaboration between technology and practice, between data engineers and policymakers, and between organizations and society. "From Data to Action" is structured around five program areas:

  • Data Governance and Standards
  • The human factor
  • Storytelling with data
  • From Innovation to Implementation
  • From insight to impact

During the Water Information Day, we will explore inspiring examples of how data contributes to this. Think of smart applications, system integrations, data-driven decision-making, visualizations that influence policy, or collaboration across organizational boundaries.
