A Digital Twin is not built from a single dataset; it is a combination of various sources that together display a 3D world. With LuciadRIA, you can easily bring all these sources together in the browser, without the user having to install anything. Think of area-wide 3D objects, nationwide services, and even 360-degree panoramic photos! You can also add dynamic data, such as vehicle positions or sensor values, in LuciadRIA, thereby truly creating a Common Operational Picture.

Stop thinking in terms of limitations

A demo environment covering a limited area is nice, but does it also work on a large scale? It does in LuciadRIA; with this tool, we can effortlessly render all 10 million buildings in the Netherlands in 3D, for example. And you can quickly fly from Maastricht to Groningen, retrieving information on every single building along the way and performing analyses—such as measurements, shadow analysis, and line-of-sight calculations.  Isn’t the Netherlands big enough? LuciadRIA is used on a global scale, at all levels.

Create a viewer in your own style

LuciadRIA is API-based, allowing you to design the application entirely to your own specifications, provided you have knowledge of WebGL, JavaScript, and/or HTML5. This approach gives you complete freedom to determine the look and feel as well as the functionality of your application. As a result, you are not limited to specific layouts, features, or data connections. Everything is customizable, so your viewer truly becomes your own and fits seamlessly with your brand identity.

Choose your own application stack

Because LuciadRIA adheres to open standards, you can immediately use any service that complies with OGC standards within your application. These can be your own services or services you access from an external source.

Of course, we offer a range of our own powerful server environments (includingLuciadFusionandERDAS ), but you can also use your own server. This allows LuciadRIA to fit into a multi-tier architecture such as Common Ground.
