IMAGEM has been undergoing IMAGEM changes in recent years. We have now grown into a team of thirty people. This means that some changes have also taken place within IMAGEM technical department. When I speak with clients, it’s not always clear exactly how the technical department is organized, who works there, and how the work is divided. That’s why we’d like to introduce the team.
We have two teams within the technical department: the team of developers and the team of geographic specialists. When you work with Luciad or ONEPORT , you’ve probably been in touch with Peter Schoep. In addition to being the operations director, Peter also leads the development team. The development team consists of four colleagues: Arjen Haayman, Christian Kleinheerenbrink, Kevin Wagenvoort, and Walter Jansen.
These developers are true experts and create the most amazing things. If you see 3D projects at our annual Make Geospatial Matter (MGM) event or other events, it’s these developers who created them. Of course, they don’t just develop 3D projects. They also ONEPORT and provide support for other initiatives within IMAGEM.
Geography specialists
In addition to the development team, you’ll be supported by a team of geographic specialists. When you IMAGEM , Kevin Schell often answers the phone. Unlike at other companies, you’ll immediately speak with a geographic specialist who can assist you right away. It doesn’t matter whether you have questions about licenses, software, or data processing. Kevin will assist you. Kevin doesn’t do this alone, as he is supported by Reinier de Graaf and Dennis Westmaas. If you work with DELTA, you’ve likely had contact with this team before. They are experts in the field of models within DELTA.
All in all, IMAGEM a wealth of expertise to help you tackle any challenge you face. Trust me, you’re in very good hands!
If you’re already using solutions like ImagineUAV, M.App Enterprise, or Schouw M.App, you’ve likely already been in touch with Reinier. He’s an expert in photogrammetry and creates amazing dashboards with M.App Enterprise. This team is led by Dennis Westmaas, who also serves as a hands-on foreman. If you work with Apollo, Dennis is no stranger to you. He is an expert on all server applications, including Apollo Advantage and Essentials. A key component of these teams is knowledge sharing. Of course, we don’t want to be caught off guard when someone is on vacation or sick. This even extends across departments, where we are supported by our business consultants such as Tjip van Dale, Robbert van Bussel, and Harald Gortz.
