IMAGEM received the 2018 FD Gazelle Award. This year, *Het Financieele Dagblad* named 680 of the approximately 585,000 registered Dutch companies as 2018 Gazelles.
Every year, *Het Financieele Dagblad* organizes the FD Gazellen Awards, which recognize the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. Now in its 15th year, the organizers have tightened their selection criteria, adding several requirements that must be met to qualify for participation. Broadly speaking, this comes down to revenue growth, profitability, and company size over the past three years. Founded as a specialist in Earth observation, IMAGEM has expanded IMAGEM years. Since late 2014, the focus has shifted to hybrid, location-intelligent solutions for governments and commercial organizations, helping them implement their policies and plans and visualize, analyze, and understand their effects. The FD Gazellen Award thus underscores the growing demand for smart, location-intelligent solutions.
IMAGEM to help governments spend available tax revenue as effectively as possible through intelligent solutions based on cutting-edge geospatial technology. The latest initiative—the VALLEY—is an example of the company’s vision to collaborate with the Dutch government to shape a “digital sharing economy.” This co-creation platform enables local governments to reuse software solutions and algorithms instead of constantly reinventing the wheel, thereby saving money, time, and effort.
